About the Project
Sport Across Borders was created to explore how sport connects cultures, people, and ideas.
The project focuses on how clubs, companies, and organizations around the world approach internationalization, innovation, and management — and what they can learn from each other.
It aims to deliver new insights and a global perspective to the sports industry, combining knowledge from AI, marketing, and business strategy to understand how sport is evolving in a connected world.
At its core, Sport Across Borders is about curiosity and collaboration — discovering how sport goes beyond competition to become a shared language that inspires progress and understanding across borders.

About Me
Hi, I’m Alex — a Sports Business & Law student driven by a passion for international sport.
What inspires me most is how sport connects people across cultures, and how management and innovation can strengthen that connection.
My fascination with global sport began early. At 17, during my final year of high school in Germany, I wrote a research paper titled “Globalization in Football: Evolution and Problems.”
That experience sparked my curiosity about how clubs, leagues, and organizations expand and interact across borders.
Having studied and worked in different countries, I’ve built connections with people from all around the world and seen how language and cultural understanding shape collaboration and trust.
I’m fluent in German, English, and Spanish, have basic Italian knowledge, and am currently learning Portuguese — languages that help me connect with people and ideas from around the world.
I’m particularly interested in the Spanish sports market and its innovative approach to combining tradition, passion, and global strategy.
I see myself as a young professional exploring how clubs, companies, and organizations differ in their approaches to internationalization, innovation, and growth.
